The Offspring Bootlegs

The Offspring's metal-inflected punk became a popular sensation in 1994, selling over four million albums on an independent record label. While the group's credentials and approach follow the indie rock tradition of the '80s, sonically they sound more like an edgy, hard-driving heavy metal band, with their precise, pulsing power chords and Dexter Holland's flat vocals.

I can't say I care much for The Offspring these days, but I still enjoy "Keep 'Em Separated" if only because it reminds me of being in my early 20s in a bar with one of my best friends and going CRAZY whenever that song came on.

Thanks for the OD with the Jenny Lewis album. So far it's slow as hell to download, but the wait is worth it. I'm so in love...
