New Velvet Revolver - The Panic Channel

THE PANIC CHANNEL, the new band featuring three quarters of the most recent lineup of JANE'S ADDICTION (guitarist Dave Navarro, drummer Stephen Perkins, and bassist Chris Chaney) and former SKYCYCLE vocalist Steve Isaacs, are scheduled to enter the studio on Tuesday (June 7) to "do some work with Josh Abraham who [produced] the VELVET REVOLVER record," according to an online posting by Navarro. Tracks slated to appear on the as-yet-untitled album include "Tea House of the Spirits", "Bloody Mary", "Loophole", "Blue Bruises" and "Said You'd Be".

With regards to the band's musical direction, Navarro recently told, "I would say there's elements of both [JANE'S ADDICTION and Navarro's 2001 solo LP, 'Trust No One'] to the music, but some of the stuff's a little more song-oriented than anything we've done before, and some of it's real experimental. So, as with everything that we've done, it's very diverse."
