Morrissey will be joining Radiohead and The Who to headline at this years V festival. He will headline both the Chelmsford and Stafford sites of the festival in August. Morrissey, who has a new album and a sold out tour on the way, will be playing alongside Keane, Beck and James Blunt ...


The Arctic Monkeys won three gongs at this year's NME Awards including Best British Band. They also won best new band and best track for I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor. The Kaiser Chiefs got the award for Best Album, while singer Ricky Wilson received a Best Dressed prize. Franz Ferdinand were named best live band award and Oasis won the best video award for The Importance of Being Idle, which starred actor Rhys Ifans. Ian Brown was honoured with Godlike Genius award presented by footballer Teddy Sheringham after the Stone Roses frontman said he would only accept the award from a member of Manchester United's 1999 treble-winning squad. Pete Doherty was named Sexiest Man by NME readers while Madonna was named Sexiest Woman. Kanye West picked up the award for Best Solo Artist. In contrast to his success at the Brit Awards, James Blunt took home a worst album award for Back to Bedlam reports BBC online ...


Editors have announced their first full-length tour of America, set to kick off next month. After selling out a handful of dates on a brief Stateside jaunt in January, the four-piece will return for almost six weeks of touring, kicking off March 20 in Boston. For the trek, Editors will be sharing the headlining slot with New York outfit Stellastarr*, who recently released their second album 'Harmonies For The Haunted' ...
