Miniature Tigers

The Miniature Tigers are LA area based indie rock band fronted by Charlie Brand, a very talented twenty-one year old musician and singer. The band has self-released a six-tracks EP named Octopus, a remarkable collection of mostly acoustic songs. The songs on the album posses outstanding individual quality, the melodies are catchy, often the hands clapping and backing vocals are used for an extra vibe and the singing is excellent. Charlie's voice is exceptional and easy memorable, it hooks you up in a moment.

The Wolf, White Magic and Viking Hearts are my picks from the EP but the other songs are equaly good. The Octopus EP is available for purchase over the band's MySpace page and it's highly recommended!

Like Neutral Milk Hotel or Clap Your Hands Say Yeah!, the Miniature Tigers posses that emotional drill that makes one band better than average. I hope we will not wait long until the Mini Tigers grow and deliver us some more beautiful songs.
