Jenny O, Wildlife, The White Buffalo

Jenny O. is an artist whose musical career has been in the works since she was a toddler, and now we're pleased to announce the details of her debut EP, Home, which will be released digitally on November 30th via Manimal Vinyl Records (also home to Bat For Lashes and Warpaint), with details for the physical release coming soon. Though she’s performed in countless bands, Home is surprisingly her first solo release (which she produced and engineered herself). On the EP, you can hear influences as varied as wide-eyed folk, jazz-fueled hip hop, and 60s & 70s pop. The lyrics are irresistibly frank and evocative, especially sung by her fresh, soaring voice. Throughout the tracks, the light-hearted, sunny L.A. vibe is always present. Recommended!

Wildlife is between the ages of 26 and 29, fun, funny and mostly single. Their interests involve sending their own brand of harmonies, flashing guitars and swirling synthesizer hooks down through the bedrock filters of noise, infectious pop, and electronic mess. They boast one of this country's most talented rhythm sections. The songs they write are crafted, a labour of science and love. Thier live shows have made people sweat, jump, dance, scream, cry, sing, fight or stand there and order pizza. They love their friends, their mothers, their parties and their pets. Wildlife announced the release of their first full-length album Strike Hard, Young Diamond on November 16th, which comes at the heels of their EP of the same name. Recorded with Michael Keire and Glen Marshall (Feist, Apostle of Hustle, Dark Mean), Strike Hard, Young Diamond furthers an understanding of what it is to be naive and full of spark: it embraces our failures, nurtures our successes; and most importantly, it celebrates them. Recommended!

The White Buffalo represents an authentic homage to the times of hard touring, hard drinking artists who truly lived what they sang about. Seamlessly moving from heartfelt ballads to raucous bar songs, The White Buffalo sings with integrity and pensive reflection as he wanders the road, sharing his music. Everything about him is big, from his imposing physical size to his amazing vocal range. From his whiskey-drenched, growling lows to his heart stopping highs, The White Buffalo paints a touching picture, whether he stands alone or performs with his energetic band. Fresh off his tour with Angus and Julia Stone, The White Buffalo embarks upon yet another headlining US tour with the release of the new EP. Recommended!

I appreciate all of your postings and the Extras, These people that beg of you to find an album for them for free are quite appalling. These albums they ask for aren't obscure or pre-releases, buy an album or two people, this will contribute to the bands that craft the music you listen to.

Hey, this is cool stuff, something worth my time. Good attempt. Quiet interesting way of narrating interesting stuff. I think you have spent a lot of time in researching as some of the facts were just so shocking and never heard of. I am speechless…
