Irene
Irene grew into a full scale band quite spontaneously in 2005. The members are all friends from the local pub in Göteborg, Sweden. Some songs that Tobias Isaksson (aka Bobby) had written just couldn't wait to be performed live. The people that did the first show had so much fun that they wanted to stick around. By the autumn of 2005 Irene was an octet with semi-permanent members. Shortly after that the record label Labrador signed the band.A critically acclaimed debut album called Apple Bay was released in 2006. It was an upbeat, super-short, 24 minute tribute to the 60's sound with most instruments recorded live. Apple Bay has been licensed in The USA, Australia, Thailand and Taiwan and distributed via Labrador's associates in countries all over the world. In the spring 2007 tours of England, France, Spain and Germany made Irene aspire to take their music to a new level. The result was an almost perfectly executed, timeless pop trip of 27 minutes titled Long Gone Since Last Summer. Although the album is due in Sweden less than one year after the debut it displays a band with brand new qualities. The members of Irene remain beach crooners, lounge punks and next door nice guys. Recommended!

In November 2006, the band were signed by Wichita Recordings, who put out their first single on 26 February 2007, a double A-side featuring new songs "We Throw Parties, You Throw Knives" and "Don't Tell Me To Do The Math(s)". In April the band signed to Canadian label Arts & Crafts for Canadian and North American releases. In June 2007 the band released

After honing his skills as a keyboard player in Meredith Bragg and The Terminals, Donny Hue recruited his not-so-ordinary friends (the Colors) to help create his own vision. The group made their way down south from Washington, DC to record their debut
The band also has a keen ear for the ?occasional cover song, and the old instrument switcheroo on stage. Anyone who has had the chance to see White Rabbits live will be able to attest first hand to the joy and effervescence that they exude on stage. True camaraderie in fact. Their sets have gained the band a large and growing audience and led them to share bills with Peter Bjorn & John, The Walkmen, Richard Swift and others. A full tour is planned for the late spring as well.

Mike Grimes (Vocals, Guitars, Bass) and Nadim Issa (Keyboards, Bass, Vocals) started playing music together as undergraduates at Brown University. Soon after relocating to New York, they crossed paths with French expat Jonathan Mason (Drumset, Vocals, Percussion, Toys) and persuaded him to lend his considerable charms to the burgeoning sounds heretofore confined to terrible cassette recordings of late night bedroom jam sessions. In sweaty and overpriced Midtown rehearsal spaces, the trio began hammering out the blueprint for their signature sound, an idiosyncratic blend of Kinks-esque swagger, Beach Boys harmonies, and muscular rhythms reminiscent of Talking Heads. Inspired by the unorthodox and backwards style of penmanship favored by Leonardo da Vinci, they named the project Mancino. And who are we to argue with Leonardo da Vinci? After all, there is a Ninja Turtle named after him.
Goodbye the Band's hallmarks are a clear affinity for dynamic-conscious and dense arrangement, an ear for compelling production and, perhaps most obviously, an obsession with melodies operating at both traditional and unusual intervals. While no longer adolescent, Acquadro's teenage fanboy appreciation for the guitar lines of Smiths-era Johnny Marr, the energy of Talking Heads' small riffs and the melodies of vintage They Might Be Giants is spiritually if not modally obvious.
Bringing together the seemingly disparate sounds of dark, synthy electro-pop of the 1980s and guitar-based classic rock makes it difficult to put a finger on the sound of Knoxville, Tennessee’s
Angel and the Love Mongers first album was a collection of 11 catchy alternative/pop songs produced by Don Coffey, Jr., of Superdrag fame. However, for their sophomore effort the band wanted to broaden their musical pallet and therefore sought out the help of legendary artist/producer Mitch Easter. The culmination of this effort is
From the dark corner of the small underground music sessions in suburb Haugesund, four individuals started their trail toward musical relief in capitol city, Bergen, Norway. Together they challenged sound, rhythm and lyrics, the very definition of modern music. In their own special way,
